I give this show the hugest pass in the world when it comes to plot holes because I adore these characters so much, and wow, did I love seeing Kara join the marchers this week, but...that really is a big ol' logic hole, isn't it?
As always, however, Supergirl benefits from incredible performances from its immensely talented cast, who help elevate the material and make it feel more seamless than it actually is.
Incisive, clever, thought provoking and above all challenging Supergirl lays out the agenda whilst refusing to compromise vision. A show with more bite and backbone than half a dozen cheap imitations.
While I'm not a fan of the politics infiltrating our storylines, I'm always down for a positive message that spreads light and hope.
As expected, #AmericanAlien's march hit a pretty significant snag, though not through any fault of Brainy's
It is, however, rare that one [episode] hits so close to home that I find myself fighting to see through tears. "Stand and Deliver" is exactly that.
