Despite being quirky, even weird at times, we enjoyed the characters and the humor and the attempts to tackle a few serious issues and looked forward to where the story would lead. Great fun! See more Rick R @RT29686565 Sep 21 Well acted first season with satisfying writing. This dark comedic drama features four protagonists, each dealing with their own flavour of outcast-dom. I had middling expectations, but was very pleasantly surprised by the whole first season. I bought in to all four protagonists and lived for some of the more surreal moments of the series.
