Admittedly, the films have rubbed some of the sheen off the nostalgia, but with the yet another instalment out later this year, here's hoping the magic of the Sunbow original will live on this time around. Go to Full Review

The only bad thing about the 16 episodes is that they end all too quickly. Leaving me wanting, nay NEEDING more. Go to Full Review

Even though the Transformers franchise has now moved way beyond the products, the series holds up well. Yes, the animation is very clunky by today's standards, but the transformation effect never gets old. Go to Full Review

Transformers F @G1Hotrod Nov 22 This was what started it all! You have to get past the errors in animation but once you do that, there isn’t much better in terms of Transformers. See more Nerd W Apr 21 Awful animation, plot hole central but even with that, it’s still a strong season. See more Tyler L @Tyler131 Mar 11 A super fun show with awesome characters. See more Jon @ProfessionalCat 09/01/2023 This is a classic tv show that is amazing. See more 07/28/2021 Brilliant storylines and a really good base from which all other Transformers stories can build from, giving us the basic outlines for multiple characters which would be used to define them in other versions. The 3 part "More Than Meets The Eye" that begins the series is one of the best set ups for a cartoon series that I have seen and could work as its own stand-alone film, from which to have based a movie series from. See more Ethan B 01/19/2019 A great TV cartoon but it is filled with Animation Errors and sometimes Cringey dialogue. The show was great for the first 2 seasons but after the movie it was not so great. See more Read all reviews
