Ogden Nash worked in a variety of genres and built up a diverse and reputable career. Nash worked on a variety of projects during his early entertainment career, including "The Firefly" (1937) starring Jeanette MacDonald and "The Shining Hour" (1938). Nash had a diverse career throughout the forties and the 2010s, including "One Touch of Venus" (1948), "The House I Live In" (PBS, 1989-1990), "Carnival of the Animals" and "The Music of Kurt Weill: September Songs" (PBS, 1994-95). More recently, Nash provided music for the drama "A Late Quartet" (2012) with Philip Seymour Hoffman.
