Patrick Bromley
I have been reviewing films since 2004, when I started as a critic with DVD Verdict. I launched my own site, fthismovie.com, in 2010, which publishes reviews, retrospective pieces, and a weekly podcast all in the service of a love of film despite its irreverent name. In addition to writing for Blumhouse.com (when that was a thing), I am a regular contributor to genre sites Daily Dead and Bloody Disgusting, where I have covered film festivals and champion a love of horror movies. Watching movies, writing about movies, and hopefully spreading a passion and knowledge of film is my love. I am a member of both the Chicago Film Critics Association and the Online Film Critics Society as well.

Terrifier 2 (2022) |
The graphic kills and insane practical gore effects (created by Leone himself) are what gave the first film its reputation, and while I can't say that mean-spirited violence is why I watch horror, there's also no denying Leone's gift for creating carnage. - F This Movie!
