Just an average action/thriller full of dull action scenes and dialogue, Nothing really great to speak of until the twist at the end that was pretty good even if it had a few plot holes, A boring film turned into a average film thanks to the twist.

Chaos is a psychological thriller that tries to be crafty, but it shows its hand too soon. The story follows a bank robbery that confounds the police when nothing appears to have been stolen, leaving a rookie detective to suspect that it's a prelude to something bigger. Featuring Jason Statham, Ryan Phillippe, Justine Waddell, and Wesley Snipes, the casting is rather good. But the storytelling is weak, following several obvious twists that are common in heist films. Still, the characters are interesting and the plot has a fair amount of intrigue. It lacks originality, but Chaos is a solid thriller that has its moments.

Another entertaining Jason Statham cop film with a kickass ending. The only real problem I have with this movie is Ryan Phillippe, who I can never quite stand as an actor. The plot has noticeable holes, but you really have to look at this for its entertainment value.

Is there a little bit of a twist with not a cookie-cutter neatly wrapped up ending, yes, is that enough to make it original or even good, not really. The story is straightforward and not particularly new or different and only worth watching for a little meaningless entertainment. Some of the script is forced and the actors almost are relieved once they utter some of the sillier or overly serious lines. Overall though it is entertaining enough for a lazy afternoon but certainly doesn't hold any real weight to it and isn't original or different from the countless other action films out.
