The plane carrying wealthy Charles Morse (Anthony Hopkins) crashes down in the Alaskan wilderness. Together with the two other passengers, photographer Robert Green (Alec Baldwin) and assistant Stephen (Harold Perrineau), Charles devises a plan to help them reach civilization. However, his biggest obstacle might not be the elements, or even the Kodiak bear stalking them -- it could be Robert, whom Charles has reason to believe is having an affair with his wife and would not mind seeing him dead.

Hopkins and Baldwin’s onscreen relationship carry this hard hitting survival movie. The wilderness and tension with the pursuing bear and Hopkins’ interesting and likeable character ensure that it keeps you captivated from start to end. Nice score and has help up well since its release.

It’s everything you want in a movie. Good writing, great set design, talented actors and realistic suspense. This movie is like your favorite ride at a theme park; no matter how many times you ride (watch) it, it never disappoints. This is an all time favorite.

Good Film, I don't think I've ever seen a bad film with Anthony Hopkins, one of the greats. The Film has everything, action, drama, suspense, keeps you interested from the start. After seeing a fair few bad flicks lately this was a breath of fresh air, they don't make films like this anymore unfortunately.

Synopsis
