Blake- N @PBSAniDom Apr 9 Joe Somebody has potential with a relatable story about an ordinary man standing up for himself, but it falls flat in execution. The plot feels predictable, the humor often misses the mark, and the characters are underdeveloped, making it hard to truly connect with their struggles. While some performances are decent, nothing really stands out or elevates the film beyond a forgettable watch. It’s a passable way to kill time, but ultimately, it’s a bland experience that doesn’t leave a lasting impression. I’d give it a 4/10 for effort, but don’t expect anything memorable. Corny, predictable and a bit hum drum, but great entertainment nevertheless. Not meant to be taken seriously, so don't expect a perfectly modelled movie. Light hearted and meant for whole family. Nice for a movie night, pizza and all. Tim Allen knows how to absorb an off beat character, awkwardly but with pizzazz and sass. Witty, funny and sometimes surprisingly spot on real life. See more Zachary Jacob S @RT29975639 11/02/2024 Going in with no expectations, I thought the film was just ok. The score was bland. The story was 'alright' but not very unique or character deep. It's a goofy film! Don't go in looking for a deep experience or even peak comedy. The film in more ways than one, is just luke warm. Not terrible, but far from great.
