Bruce Campbell lends his patented brand of tongue-in-cheekiness to this high-energy action comedy as Jack Stiles, a roguish adventurer who serves as a secret agent for President Thomas Jefferson in 1801. Accompanied by his sexy English partner, Emilia Rothschild, Jack focuses most of his attention on foiling Napoleon's plans for world conquest. Gov. Croque runs the French island of Palau Palau, where Emilia has an export business and a secret laboratory. Croque's brother, Napoleon himself, is portrayed as being even more vertically challenged than usual, while a talking parrot (in uniform) named Jean-Claude frequently passes along vital information to Jack and Emilia.
