Adam K @AdamK007 3h After having read the book many years ago and seeing the old movie, I think this was a good reality example but because of that, there was a lot of drawn out moments l, dead space, and times I just wanted to fall asleep. The book drew me in where this version made me not want to finish. It was a good attempt but could have been done in a 2hr film with a lot more features added. There is little background story, or how the island experience shapes these kids in the aftermath. Even on the island, stuff just seems to happen with little insight on why. Only the last episode has the major events in the film. And most scenes are just boring, with more than half of the scenes viewing the jungle.
