Becky practices for her driving test while Roseanne discovers that she has missed her period. Jackie and Crystal (Natalie West) help her take a home pregnancy test. Eventually Dan finds out what's going on, and the whole family waits for the results. This was the first episode to air following Roseanne's infamous rendition of the National Anthem at a baseball game, prompting her to make a reference to singing at the beginning of the episode. Upon her first entrance into the kitchen, she says, "I feel like singing!"
