Furniture maker Tommy MacDonald visits historic landmarks then returns to his workshop inspired to create a wide variety of furniture for the home and office. In each episode, MacDonald provides detailed instructions for each piece -- perfect projects for the do-it-yourself enthusiast. Some items include a sand-shaded wall clock, drop-leaf table, and a mortise and tenon bookshelf. In season two, "The Field Trip" segment includes workshops with some of the country's finest furniture makers.
