It’s fun and fast, there’s lots of lightsaber action, and we’re gearing up for a good old-fashioned space-chase. Go to Full Review

No lightsabers can match the firece glow of Rosario Dawson as the ex-Jedi with the funky headgear who leads her sisterhood—glory to Mary Elizabeth Winstead and Natasha Liu Bordizzo—against the Empire’s fading patriarchy. Now that's worth celebrating. Go to Full Review

There’s a surplus of exposition and familiar lightsabre battles, but Ahsoka is still more promising than last year’s Obi-Wan Kenobi. I’m sticking with it. Go to Full Review

Despite being a little slow to pick up during the first episode, Ahsoka has excellent pacing throughout the show as the stakes are immediately established. Go to Full Review

Rosario Dawson plays the character with all of the vim and excitement of a heavily medicated accountant. She floats disinterestedly on a cloud of self-satisfied contentment through most of the episodes. Go to Full Review

Bee D @BeeDub191 Jan 21 This show kicked the post. Empire story forward nicely. Fairly decent acting overall with some obvious exceptions, but I liked the show enough not to slam specifics. Looking forward to a second season See more Romen B @Eric54321 Jan 16 This show completely assassinates the characters of Sabine Wren, Hera Syndulla, and most importantly, Ahsoka Tano. Ahsoka Tano was once one of my favorite Star Wars characters, and this show completely wastes her with a nonsense script, a laughable plot, and poor character writing. I wanted this show to be good so badly and was let down in almost every way an Ahsoka Tano fan could be. In my opinion, if you are/were a fan of Ahsoka Tano, you should hate this show too, because not only is this the worst version of the character we have ever gotten, but it completely misunderstands her. I hate that I agree that she should died in rebels but I agree with that now, what a waste of a character. R.I.P Ahsoka Tano, you will be missed. Also, Sabine has the force now, so yeah, that cosmonaut video on Rebels has aged like fine wine lol. Disney/dave please listen to your critics, I beg you! Not only for the sake of Star Wars but for the sake of Ahsoka. See more JimW @Westcoast Jan 5 I gave this three stars in hope the show improves. I like all the actors in the show (I have always been a fan of Rosario Dawson and Ray Stevenson) but for the most part, the writing and characters seem very one-dimensional. Dawson seems bored and I know she can do better. Stevenson’s Baylan is the most interesting character, but we don’t get as much screen time with him as we all would have liked. There has been a trend for some time to make the main hero’s strong female characters, which is fine, but they seem to forget that boys need a strong male character too. Ahsoka is really heavy on the female empowerment but light on men being relevant in a positive way. Esra (who was a main character in Rebels) is kind of pathetic in this. The two most prominent men are both bad guys. I’ll watch the next season, but I hope it improves. See more William P @WilliamPLima Jan 3 This is the Star Wars sequel I needed. A show that is not afraid to embrace the legacy of both the prequels and the original trilogy, while also bringing in original ideas. And, most importantly, a show that is not afraid of being Star Wars. See more Amber-Lee M @SlyrNyteshade Dec 31 If you were a fan of Rebels, this is a must watch! See more Mke O @Mikeoxlonger Dec 25 Not one of the better ones. Not even close to the Mandalorian. There are too many girls and they aren't good hero's. The story is thin and forced. I suffered through it thinking it would be better. The Jedi training was lame and the light saber fights were like girls fighting in real life, not very well. They could have had better athletes as stand in's but they didn't even do that. The woke influencers at Disney find new ways to ruin Star Wars every time they touch it. See more Read all reviews
