Are there people better equipped to solve the world's problems than comics? Probably, but shows featuring those people likely wouldn't be as entertaining as "The Fix." Jimmy Carr hosts this comedy series that vows to solve problems in 30 minutes or fewer. In each episode, Carr is joined by team captains D.L. Hughley and Katherine Ryan, along with guest comics, who debate and discuss one of the biggest challenges facing the world in a team panel format. With the help of resident data expert Mona Chalabi, the panelists are presented with surprising facts before each squad presents its fix -- a unique and comedic solution that is so outrageous, it could actually work. After both solutions are presented, the studio audience votes for its favorite fix. Once the audience decides which solution is better, the job is done and the problem that has vexed the world is solved... maybe.
