A bafflingly horrible sci-fi show, the kind of project that leaves your jaw on the floor, not unlike the first time you saw Tommy Wiseau's The Room.

I guess mystery box isn't an apt description for this indisputable disaster, as mysteries come with some intrigue to see them solved and boxes are actually useful.

Quite possibly the worst TV show of 2019.

The I-Land's clunky dialogue and generic characters make us care very little about why these ten jerks are on this island.

This is sci-fi without a vision, a genre piece that doesn't know how its own genre works. The I-Land is begging to be forgotten.

The writing is dribble and acting sub par, it's a complete waste of time. Dialogue makes one want to wretch. Quite possibly the worst series of all time. Adding a laugh track seems appropriate.

Someone green lit this. If you were in any doubt about yourself as a person, someone green lit this! Characters as wooden as a Viking longship but as deep as a Tardigrade. You know what, that's cruel to Tardigrades, they can survive in space by shutting down all their functions, which still wouldn't help them survive watching this. Imagine if Lost was written by a goat, but the goat had horrible dyslexia, only had ten minutes to finish the script and had never heard a human interact with another human before but had a chimp loosely explain that infamous J.J Abrams speech about mystery boxes. Perhaps worst of all, it's not bad enough to make it funny.

This is probably the stupidest show i have ever seen besides Jericho. Literally it is so bad and the acting is pathetic. It is very cringey and really bad and is a complete wannabe Lost. This show makes me wanna shoot myself

I did find the lead actresses five O'clock shadow mustache disappearing and then reappearing between shots amusing... nothing else

The concept here was promising. The execution however was terrible. The writing was mediocre and left you wanting to skip through to end of the series just to find out what happened in a hope it salvaged the show. It did not. This was underdeveloped and uninspired. What should have been a sci-fi winner turned into a flop. The characterization was generic there was no depth. The acting was "bad" but I blame that more on the writing. All in all this was a waste of space on Netflix.

It's so incredibly bad. I only got through the first twenty minutes the first time before I couldn't take any more. Decided to try and go back, maybe give it a chance, and it got worse. It's awful.

I enjoyed the first few episodes despite the acting being spotty, but the last 2 episodes ruins the entire series.

Something was terribly off with the dialogues..and character building... It was actually hard to listen to characters because of the nonsense they were saying or how it did not match the situation at all... I am not sure it's Netflix worthy...
