Vixo S @vixo_six 1h Best in Show is a light and very entertaining comedy that finds humor in how seriously its characters treat a dog show. Christopher Guest uses the mock documentary style to observe obsession, insecurity and small ambitions without making the characters feel completely cruel or empty. It took me a little while to connect with its humor, and not every joke worked for me at the same level, but once the film finds its rhythm, it becomes much more enjoyable. The cast chemistry, the natural dialogue and the calm absurdity of each situation give the movie a very specific charm. It did not make me laugh all the way through, but I still had a good time.
