See more Maevis S @Jesusfreak77 Mar 2 The Film "Noah" was a dramatic, fantastical, whirlwind of a movie. Was it Biblically accurate movie? No, but it was it an incredibly entertaining story? Absolutely. For the viewers who have read the Biblical account of Noah's life, it's quite a shock to later watch this, and I understand their varying reactions from uncontrollable laughing to a kindled indignation. But we have no reason to assume that evangelism was Aronofsky's goal, so let's just go with the default understanding, that he's a storyteller, like all Directors are meant to be. It was a very impressive production, my personal favorite bits being the beautiful visions given to Noah by God and the fact that only Noah could understand that language. And I respected Aronofsky pushing against the norm that Noah would've been such a saint, when everyone else around him were so wicked. Instead, I found myself getting angry with "Noah's" actions, which had be even more hooked to understanding him, his family, and God. Casting: ok See more giselle l @Dr_GisL_Garcia Feb 12 It's definitely not a movie for Christians....it's definitely satanic propaganda in the way that Almighty God is portrayed....as evil and uncaring. It twisted the entire biblical story with a lot of dark fantasy. I did like the addition of the watchers, but there were no mention of nephilims. Another deviation from the bible is the way that Methuselah was doing magic...things Almighty God hates🤦🏿‍♀️...and Tubal Cain getting into the ark, Methuselah drowning in the flood (although he would have died shortly before the flood in the bible acct). The directors took too much creative liberties with the film and I couldn't enjoy it. The storyline is bizarre and emma''s acting is over the top. See more kelly k @Kelly937 Feb 6 Full of lies. Super compelling film. Suffers a little from pacing issues in the second half. Some of the characters don't have enough to do either. But I liked it.
