The best part about this movie was the lesbian. Ya know, the blond one with the flowing locks? Yeah, that one.

Shrek the Third is incredibly forgettable. It is okay.

I know that's a weaker entry in the franchise after to massive sucessful movies, but still, Shrek 3 manages to mantain the good humour and great vocal performances to deliver an fast-paced adventure, with funny moments and additions of new characters with good charisma. It's totally worthwile to see.

|It's a 7,6 out of 10|

When watching Shrek, just end at the second one because this is when the story goes down the plug-hole. It's story is just unneeded for the film series because it's vibe is different from the first two films.

Continuing the downward trend of the franchise, Shrek the Third lacks the coherency or charm of its predecessors.

This films great CGI, great voice acting, passable story, and decent premise makes this not only a very good film, but a pretty awesome 2nd sequel. However, this film is missing a little bit of the charm that the 1st 2 films had, as well as a story that's as good as the 1st, 2nd, and 4th film, which makes this film the least best of the franchise. But it's still good enough to be more than tolerable.

Was anyone asking for a third movie?

Moderately entertaining, but it feels completely unnecessary. (First and only viewing - In my early twenties)

Although this movie wasn't as good as it's two previous sequels...it was still enjoyable. It's got some amazing visuals & a fair share of laughs, with yet again some outstanding performances from Mike Myers, Eddie Murphy & Cameron Diaz.

What made the first Shrek enduring & charming has been completely lost over the course of the sequels, resulting in a lacklustre third instalment.
Animators claims at advanced technology allowing them to produce better imagery & detail is very questionable, as to ask "so what?". The film is packed full of load, OTT gags & physical comedy to keep you awake, as well as entertain the kiddies with the bright colours & action - but for a more mature audience at whom the dialogue & jokes of the films are aimed, it neither impresses nor amuses. In fact the characters seem to have taken a step back, becoming more slapstick in their behaviour & approach. I can't help but feel that the voice cast realize this, & each deliver a bored & tired performance.
The comedy is recycled from it's predecessors, it's direction a mystery, it's intentions non-existent. Dreamworks should have quit whilst it was ahead, & should stop focussing on advertising it's star casts & work more on story & script.

Shrek The Third... It's good-ish, and why? Well the movie sort of focused more on the story and it progressed as there aren't as many jokes as the last films, i do like this a teeny tiny bit better than Forever After. However, my favorite quote from this film is "Hey, how's it goin'?".

Shrek the Third sees all the beloved characters return and embarking on a less than entertaining adventure without the same heart, charm and wit which made the prior two stories in this tale classics. With poor character development, new yet boring additions and a predictable plot, the film is overflowing with potshot galore to the extent of making this episode in the trilogy a sinking failure.
