Watched this after binging 21/22 Jump Street. This was so cringe. I guess you had to watch it when it was out, not years later. Boring.

Superbad remains memorable because it turns a vulgar teenage comedy into a sincere portrait of friendship, insecurity and the fear of growing apart. Greg Mottola lets the humor be loud, messy and obscene, but the film works because every absurd situation is rooted in emotional panic. Jonah Hill gives Seth explosive insecurity, Michael Cera gives Evan awkward sincerity and Christopher Mintz Plasse turns McLovin into a perfect image of teenage delusion. Emma Stone and the supporting cast help keep the story from feeling flat, giving warmth to a world built on embarrassment and desire. The film is not really about one chaotic night or the pressure to have sex. It is about boys who confuse validation with maturity while slowly realizing that friendship can be as intense, fragile and difficult to define as romance. Superbad laughs loudly, but its lasting truth is tender: growing up means accepting that love can remain even when life begins to separate people.

A simple fun movie. Michael Cera is great. But I love McLovin. He was awesome. To be honest I loved the scènes with Christopher Mintz-Plasse with Bill Hader and Seth Rogen more than Michael Cera and Jonah Hill. Superbad is a fun movie though

The dialogs in this movie is insanely funny. If you are having a really bad day, go watch superbad, I promise you your day will change. Really good comedy to watch
