Josh W 10/26/2024 The definitive show on the Scientific Process. Mythbusters comes up with questions and hypotheses that have wide public interest. Then Jamie and Adam test the hypotheses, laying out the finite steps of the scientific process in each episode. Not only does it answer a whole lot of high interest questions, but it teaches the scientific process as it is performed each episode TO A TEE. I started watching Mythbusters in the early 2000s. And even today, I still use knowledge gained from Adam and Jamie's scientific tests; i.e., what is the fastest way to chill cans of soda/beer? can poppy seeds cause you to fail a drug test? can a singer really break a glass using the right pitch and volume? can a murderer shoot someone with an ice bullet that melts the evidence away? how long is a goldfish's memory really?
