Rescued after 15 years in a cult, Kimmy Schmidt decides to reclaim her life by venturing to New York, where she experiences everyday life with wide-eyed enthusiasm. On a whim, she rents a room from Titus, a gay wannabe Broadway actor, who makes ends meet as a street performer in Times Square. The unlikely pair find they're well-suited to help each other out, with Titus reintroducing Kimmy to modern life, and her providing him with the inspiration that you should never give up. Together they'll make it through whatever life throws at them.

T85 J Jul 16 Now THIS is how to write media with a strong "adorkable" character! It is a nice, quirky comedy dealing with some serious topics and it goes somehow just hands in hand! The characters are really impactful and pretty well handed in their strenghts and flaws with a steep but wellgoing developement! Her along with long time collaborator and producer of "Friends" Robert Carlock put together a show about Kimmy Schmidt, a woman who spent years locked in a bunker with a bunch of other women in a cult. The comedy comes from Kimmy's optimistic and naive view on life. Along with Kimmy we have Titus, a overly dramatic aspiring actor, Jacqueline White, a cynical talent agent, and Lillian Kaushtupper, a crazy lady. The show takes after more of the later end material of "30 Rock", where things are a bit too over the top. But the series gets better as it goes along and provides a satisfactory ending for the fans.
