Oliver Stone at his best. Woody Harrelson at his best. Juliette Lewis at her best. This film is insane and wild. A story by Tarantino which is just insanity personified on screen. A ride not soon forgotten and one of my personal Tarantino favorites. The cast is insane as well. Rodney Dangerfield. RDJ. Tom Sizemore. Tommy Lee Jones. Jared Harris has a role in it. Its wild and fun and wild some more!

It turns out that the constant use of confusing effects, perspectives and the like doesn’t automatically contribute to the storytelling; rather, it comes across as though a budding film student has been letting their "creative" side run wild. Yet these over-the-top creative devices are only there to mask the fact that the story isn’t being told properly.

Natural Born Killers is a fantastic movie that really shows how American media glorifies violence. Honestly, it feels just as relevant today as it did in the 90s. Juliette Lewis and Woody Harrelson are incredible together. I wish they had done more intense and thought provoking roles like this. Robert Downey Jr. is perfect in it, and Tommy Lee Jones plays exactly the kind of loud, ridiculous character the movie needed. Part of me would still love to see Quentin Tarantino remake it in his original vision, but I still love what Oliver Stone created.

This movie made no sense. Lots of blood but for no dramatic purpose. The fact that Oliver Stone directed it just makes it all the worse. Of course Tarantino had a hand in it. Juliette Lewis made the film tolerable.
