Not bad, but the point is muddled in a movie that doesn't know what it wants to be.

Mountain Xpress (Asheville, NC)

Boring stock market comedy. No laughs.

July 13, 2003

Surprisingly, the trademark roguish antics of diminutive devil DeVito is kept at a subdued level thanks to the lifeless corporate spunk in Jewison's mediocre material. It's not really all that fun spending a dime on Other People's Money

Audience Reviews for Other People's Money

Not quite "Wall Street" but pretty funny and worth watching. Danny DeVito and Gregory Peck. Who would have ever thought of putting those two together. And Penelope Ann Miller... WOW! What ever happened to her? Definitely a great rental.

James Kimber
James Kimber

a very well-written financial comedy. intelligent plot, multi-dimensional characters, and a bittersweet look at both sides of the corporate universe. great acting performances as well.

Brian Schnell

Danny DeVito does an entertaining star turn as a personification of the greedy and heartless 1980s, but there is a softening of Jerry Sterner's biting theatrical success and problematic casting.
