In 2003, Harvard undergrad and computer genius Mark Zuckerberg (Jesse Eisenberg) begins work on a new concept that eventually turns into the global social network known as Facebook. Six years later, he is one of the youngest billionaires ever, but Zuckerberg finds that his unprecedented success leads to both personal and legal complications when he ends up on the receiving end of two lawsuits, one involving his former friend (Andrew Garfield). The Social Network is a sharp, addictive film with outstanding acting and razor-fast dialogue. It makes lawsuits and coding feel like a thriller, and every scene pulls you in harder than the last.

I always rewatch this movie every year. I think it is because the dialogue is some of the best I’ve seen in a movie. The writing and the acting keeps you engaged. Director and writer does a great job introducing and keeping the tension in every scene. Andrew and Jesse’s performance is definitely iconic. I always recommend watching.

The Social Network remains powerful because it is not really about coding or business, but about ambition, ego and emotional isolation. David Fincher turns depositions, conversations and corporate conflict into psychological warfare, where every line feels like a move in a larger battle for recognition. Jesse Eisenberg gives Mark Zuckerberg brilliance and insecurity at once. His speed and intelligence feel less like confidence than defense. Andrew Garfield brings warmth and heartbreak as Eduardo Saverin, while Justin Timberlake gives Sean Parker the charm and danger of limitless success. The film's deepest irony is that a platform made to connect people becomes a portrait of disconnection. Success does not feel triumphant here. It feels hollow, shaped by validation gained at the cost of trust, friendship and self awareness.
